GJO&PARTNERS LTD is a financial advisory firm. It is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and carries on no regulated intermediation activity: it does not place securities, does not solicit investors on behalf of third parties and does not provide investment advice within the meaning of UK regulation. Its engagements are billed on fixed fees.
2. What we collect
This site has no forms and no accounts. We only collect personal data when you contact us, by email, phone or WhatsApp: your name, contact details, role and organisation, and the content of your message.
Applications: if you write to introduce yourself, we keep your message, your CV and the documents you attach.
Technical data: our hosting provider produces access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser) needed for the security and operation of the site.
A single cookie is set, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers the language you chose. It is strictly necessary for the bilingual site to work, serves no tracking, and no audience measurement tool or third-party tracker is embedded. That is why no consent banner is shown to you.
3. Why we process it
To answer your request and, where relevant, prepare an engagement proposal: our legitimate interest in replying to those who contact us, then the performance of the contract between us if an engagement begins.

To keep the site secure: our legitimate interest.
We do not use your data for marketing without your agreement, do not sell or rent it, and take no solely automated decision about you.
4. Who has access
The Managing Partner and, for a given engagement, the consultants working on it. Our technical processors within the limits of their function: Vercel for hosting the site, Microsoft for email. When you write to us on WhatsApp, Meta Platforms processes your messages under its own terms, as a separate data controller.
Where a transfer outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area is necessary, it relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or a recognised adequacy mechanism.
5. For how long
Exchanges about a request that leads nowhere are kept for twelve months after the last message. Exchanges about an engagement are kept for its duration and then six years from its close, as required by our accounting and professional obligations.
Applications are kept for six months after our reply, unless you ask us to keep them longer.
The hosting provider's technical logs are kept for at most twelve months.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your personal data. To exercise it, write to contact@gjoandpartners.com. We reply within one month.
If our reply does not satisfy you, you may complain to the competent supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom (ico.org.uk), or the data protection authority of your country of residence.
7. Intellectual property
The texts, studies, illustrations and graphic elements of this site are the property of GJO&PARTNERS LTD unless stated otherwise. Publications and case studies may be quoted with attribution; any full reproduction requires our written agreement.
8. Changes to this page
This page may change with the site. The date of the last update appears at the top. The governing law is that of England and Wales, subject to mandatory rules in your country of residence.
